Bible College Scholarship Program
Qualifications and Procedure
A tuition assistance fund has been made available to encourage active members of Christ’s Church to pursue a full-time Christian/Bible college education.
Qualifications
1.The applicant must be an active resident member of Christ’s Church.2.The applicant must attend an approved institution. (See list below)3.The applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student (min. 12 semester hours).Assistance Available
CC offers a flat-rate tuition for qualified applicants at the amount of up to $1,000 per semester.Application Procedure
1.Complete the Application for Bible College Tuition Assistance form and return it to Christ’s Church, Attention: Missions/College Tuition. 2.Submit with your application a 1-2 page letter to the Christ’s Church Mission Team. In it, include 1) Your reason for attending a Christian college, 2) your pursued area(s) of study, and 3) a request for scholarship funds. 3.The Mission Team may request a personal visit to one of their monthly meetings to meet you and hear more of your academic/ministry pursuits. The mission team may also contact references submitted on the application. 4.After review and approval, the Mission Team will make arrangements to forward the scholarship assistance directly to the institution.Scholarship Renewal
Renewal of scholarship each semester is not automatic. While you do not need to complete another application, you must submit a request letter along with a copy of the previous semester’s grades to the Missions Team prior to each new semester. The minimum GPA requirements must also be maintained for continued scholarship assistance.GPA Requirement
On a 4.0 grading scale, a minimum of a cumulative 2.5 grade point average must be maintained in order to continue receiving full scholarship benefit. A student with less than a 2.5 will be put on assistance probation for one semester at 1/2 the full amount. If the average is not raised to the minimum 2.5 after that semester, no financial assistance will be given until the student has raised his GPA to the minimum 2.5.Approved Colleges for College Tuition Assistance
